Overview

The tool is an online self-assessment, originally developed by Dr David Johnson as a profiling tool. It is designed to give individuals an insight into their approach to teamwork, enterprise, relationships etc. It takes between 5-10 minutes to complete; every person receives their own feedback report and the web site has a number of lesson plans to structure lessons around.

Motivation and drive, capacity to self-determine, willingness to learn, introversion/extroversion, starter/finisher, explorer/focused, opportunistic/risk avoider, self, social, skills, resources.

Uses

The tool is marketed primarily as a self-assessment for individuals but it can also be used by educational institutions as a way of evidencing activity.

Question Format

The tool is formated into 49 Questions: 28 are differential statements (on a 4-point scale), 4 are Multiple choice questions and there are 17 Likert scale - 1 (Definitely Applies) - 7 (Definitely Does Not) questions.

Results

A 5-7 page report with semi-personalised results across four or five sections. The different audiences get the same basic type of analysis. However, the language is tailored for that specific audience, e.g. simpler for younger learners. Results are visualised as bar-charts and pie-charts but most of the analysis is descriptive in nature.
